Since childhood I find myself immersed in the ideas, feelings, and emotions of art. It is a state of mind that consumes me, a process that consists of chaos and freedom. My technique cannot be taught or explained. My true self is released through this process. Balance and energy penetrates its surface. Rhythmic patterns and colors bring life to the canvas as it begins to breathe. My work is like a self-portrait: vibrant and powerful. As Yves Kline patented his deep blue, I attain my own style. Rothko gives me a place to meditate, Pollock teaches me freedom, and Gajin Fujita shows me culture mixed with modern flavor. Masters of the abstract expressionist movement as well as my own personal mentors have inspired me to simply paint. With this I present to you my true colors.
